The case for building

The decision is usually gradual. You’ve tried a few platforms, each fits most of your business, and the rest lives in workarounds and one person’s head. Eventually the workarounds cost more than the software. Custom makes sense when your workflow is genuinely different and the numbers justify the build. If a configured platform gets you most of the way for a fraction of the cost, that’s the better call, and we’ll tell you at discovery rather than after you’ve committed.

You own it

Widely-used Symfony underneath, source in your repository, hosting in your cloud, IP yours from day one. No per-seat licensing that climbs each year, no lock-in clauses. Any competent Symfony team can maintain it if you move on.

How we build

Domain model first, then the workflow, then the screens. Event-driven, so changes stay affordable two years in. We ship in two-week slices with working software at the end of each.

For Claims Management Australia we rebuilt a multi-vendor public-liability claims system from an ageing desktop application. We’ve built platforms across memberships, claims, construction and booking, and the headless stack behind several fast client sites.
